Farmer's Market

Last week I embarked on my first farmer's market trip. I was pretty sure I would love it and I was right.
There are two or three of these covered walkways. We went on a Thursday and only this one was open, but from what I understand on Saturday the different buildings have different themes, like another one being a craft building. It was still worth the 17mi drive. The fruit was so fresh and smelled so good.

This woman was selling..... PUMPKIN BUTTER!??!!?? I had no idea it existed, but am now a proud owner.

The next time I go, top of the list is to treat myself to one of these beautiful flower arrangements.

collages from abroad

The (good) pictures I take are probably my most cherished possession, especially the ones I took last summer on my trip to Europe. If I would actually look through them all (about three thousand) on a regular basis, I would never stop and my life would become one big obsession of reliving that trip.

So imagine how excited I was when I was introduced to the Diptic app, which lets you put 2 to 4 pictures together to form a mini collage. Today I put together the first three of many.
London, Paris, and Switzerland.

Caturday came early this week

That last look says it all.

New Drawstring Pouch

I made this little cutie today. Actually, I made three of them.

A fat quarter is the perfect size to make either three of the small ones (shown) or two medium sized ones. I like to use these small ones for keeping my headphones or phone charger in so they don't get tangled and aren't all over the place.

I also made an extremely rough first draft of a sewing project I've been thinking about. Now that I have something made, I'm excited to try something that looks much more polished!
